Your panels are really big, considering the sprites are so small. I'd suggest using the sprites as 200% at a bare minimum. Also... speech box tails? Color-coded text isn't a good idea.

... But you get like eleventy-billion points for not doing that "Mario's Italian so he has to say -a after every other word!!!1111" accent.
